Designed by flameworking artist and designer Marcel Braun for the needs of a flameworker, the Scarabs features are unmatched in the industry. ThePoint Rests are precision milled for a tight seal and smooth operation. The Flip Up Doors are operated with a cool to the touch wood handle and are lined with an easy to replace fiber board lining.

There is a convenient Center Door on the Scarab and Scarab XL models which allows you to work with large and small tubing while still keeping a tight seal. The main Cantilevered Door on the 3 larger Scarabs utilize specialized mounting hardware to ensure a precision fit , smooth operation and little to no side to side movement. And if that is not enough, all of the components that are exposed to heat are constructed of heavy gauge Stainless Steel.

Every component in the Scarab line was thoughtfully chosen for long life and ease of repair. The Removable Chassis on each model slides out for easy access to all the components. The Solid State Relays are designed to handle the strenuous cycling times associated with annealing and are kept cool with oversized heat sinks and a built in Cooling Fan.
